جَذِر أداة مجانية تساعدك على اكتشاف جذر أي كلمة عربية في ثوانٍ. تكتب الكلمة، فيُظهر لك جَذِر حروفها الأصلية الثلاثة (أو الأربعة)، ويرسم لك التحليل الصرفي، ويقدّم تعريفاً مختصراً بالعربية وتعريفاً مقابلاً بالإنجليزية. كل ذلك دون تسجيل دخول، ودون متابعة لما تبحث عنه باسمك.

Jadhir is a free tool that helps you find the root of any Arabic word in seconds. Type a word and Jadhir reveals its three- or four-letter root, draws the morphological breakdown, and gives you a short Arabic definition alongside an English one. No sign-in, no personal tracking.

Built for learners, teachers, students, and anyone reading Arabic (Qur'an, poetry, or prose) who needs the root fast. The interface is single-tap on phones and works the same way on a laptop.

كيف يعمل؟ How it works

تُمرَّر الكلمة عبر محلِّل صرفي يَستخلِص الجذر بإزالة السوابق واللواحق والإشباع الحركي. ثم يبحث جَذِر عن الجذر في قاعدة بيانات مبنيّة على قاموس هانز فير (الطبعة الرابعة، 1979) للترجمة الإنجليزية، وللتعريف العربي يَستعين جَذِر بمصادر متعدّدة، منها ويكاموس العربي ومُدوَّنة القرآن الكريم. حين تكون الشبكة بطيئة، يَعتمد التطبيق على نسخة محليّة مضمّنة من القاموس.

Each word is run through a morphological analyzer that strips prefixes, suffixes, and diacritics to surface its root — three letters, sometimes four. Jadhir then looks the root up against a database built from the Hans Wehr Dictionary (4th edition, 1979) for the English translation. For the Arabic definition, Jadhir draws on multiple sources, including Arabic Wiktionary and the Quranic Corpus. When the network is slow, the app falls back to a bundled offline copy.
